HURSTVILLE RITZ HOTEL, Sydney

The hotel sits directly opposite Hurstville Station, providing direct train services to both International and Domestic airports (15 minutes) and Sydney's CBD (25 minutes). The central location means Westfield shopping centre, Hurstville Oval, medical centres, the library, and an entertainment centre are all within a few minutes' walk. Street parking is available but scarce during the day; after 6 pm untimed free spots become more common. The area is well-served by buses and taxis, and a dense cluster of Asian and Australian restaurants, including Rokko Japanese BBQ, Spicy Sichuan, and Sunny Harbour Seafood, are within 0.5 km. The property's position above a pub means some evening noise from live sports and crowds carries to certain rooms, but the convenience for airport and city rail access is consistent.

The on-site restaurant, Gage Dinning and Co (open daily 11:30-21:30), offers Australian pub classics including steaks, burgers, and daily specials at lunch and dinner. A children's menu is available, and the beer garden is a popular spot for relaxed meals and drinks. The bar also serves cocktails and has a happy hour with free evening entertainment and live sport event broadcasts on a large outdoor screen. A snack bar and wine/champagne are available for an additional charge. For those who prefer lighter options, a coffee shop is also on site. The surrounding area provides a wide variety of Asian restaurants within a short walk.

There is no swimming pool, spa, or wellness centre. Leisure facilities are focused on the hotel's pub: free evening entertainment, happy hour, live sport events (broadcast), and billiards (additional charge). A casino is also on site. The property has a garden and outdoor furniture in the beer garden and courtyard. Nearby Hurstville Oval and Woodville Park offer outdoor recreation within walking distance.

WiFi is free and available in all rooms. Reception services include invoice provision and an ATM/cash machine on site. Daily housekeeping is complimentary, and express check-in/out is available for an additional charge. Luggage storage is free and useful for early arrivals or late departures. The security setup features key card and key access, CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms. No parking is available on site, but street parking is possible (timed during the day, untimed free after 6 pm). There is no lift, so the accommodation is not wheelchair accessible. The hotel does not accept Stay NSW vouchers directly.
