The hotel is situated directly off La Rambla, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The famous Boqueria Market is right next door, and Plaça Catalunya is a 5-minute walk. Liceu metro station is less than a minute away, giving direct access to Line 3 across the city. The Palau de la Música Catalana is a 10-minute walk, and the trendy Born district can be reached in around 5 minutes on foot. The beach is about 25 minutes by metro or a pleasant walk. The area is very walkable for sightseeing, with numerous shops, restaurants and bakeries nearby. The Gothic Quarter streets are safe, though some side streets can feel less busy late at night.

Rooms are basic but practical, with private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, soundproofing, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a private balcony - a double/twin room booked with two separate beds guarantees a balcony. Rooms with a balcony are generally more spacious, while single rooms are compact. Some rooms face an internal courtyard, which tends to be quieter; road-facing rooms can experience street noise, especially at night. A few rooms may have very small windows or limited natural light, so guests who value a view should request a room with a balcony or exterior window at booking. Twin, triple and quadruple rooms have a fridge, and some rooms include a safety deposit box for a small fee. Daily housekeeping is provided.
