HOTEL JOYCE - ASTOTEL, Paris

The hotel is located on a quiet street in the lively South Pigalle area, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Pigalle Metro station (line 12 and lines 2) is a 5-minute walk, providing direct connections to the Louvre, Champs-Élysées, and Gare du Nord. Opéra Garnier and Galeries Lafayette are about a 10-15 minute walk away, and Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur are a comfortable stroll. A wide variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops are within a 5-10 minute walk on Rue des Martyrs and around the Pigalle area. Public transport is excellent, with multiple bus routes and Vélib bike stations nearby. Paris Orly Airport is 19 km away and Charles de Gaulle Airport is accessible via train from Gare du Nord or by taxi at a fixed €60 rate. The neighbourhood feels safe and is well-suited for both sightseeing and evening dining.

The hotel serves a continental breakfast buffet at 14 EUR, including fresh pastries, bread, cheese, cold meats, fruit, yogurt, hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, quiche), and drinks. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available on request. Breakfast is served in the bright ground-floor lounge. The hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the neighbourhood around Rue des Martyrs and Pigalle offers many restaurants, bistros, and cafés within a short walk, including Italian, French, and wine bars. An open bar with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, tea, cakes, and snacks is available to all guests from 14:00 to 02:00 in the lobby lounge - a practical perk for returning from a day out.

No wellness or leisure facilities are available on site - there is no spa, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, or gym. The hotel's location in the 9th arrondissement puts guests within walking distance of Montmartre, the Moulin Rouge, and Opéra Garnier, and the area offers seasonal ice-skating at the nearby Place Pigalle or boating at the Bassin de la Villette. The complimentary open bar and lounge area provide a relaxing space to unwind after sightseeing, and the quiet street and comfortable rooms create a calm atmosphere for rest. For those seeking a fitness routine, the surrounding streets are well-suited for running, and Vélib bike stations are available nearby.
