La Dimora Dei Monaci is set on a lively street in the ZTL (limited traffic zone), with Piazza del Campo 350 metres away and the Duomo within a few minutes' walk. The National Picture Gallery is 8 minutes away, and San Cristoforo Church and Palazzo Chigi-Saracini are 500-600 metres from the property. The street has many restaurants and bars, yet rooms facing the rear garden remain silent. The bus station (Piazza Gramsci) is a 10-minute walk; from the train station, take any city-centre bus (10 minutes) then walk 15 minutes, or take a taxi for about €10. Florence Airport is 78 km away. Free parking areas are a 5-10 minute walk near Porta Pispini; the hosts can also provide a discount code for Siena Parcheggi.

Rooms are generously sized and characterful, featuring original antique furnishings and high ceilings. Each room includes a private bathroom with shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Air-conditioning is available (units are provided), and all rooms have a wardrobe, desk, heating, and parquet floors. The rear-facing rooms look out over a green garden and the Tuscan countryside, providing exceptional quietness. Deluxe rooms include a sitting area with padded chairs and an armchair. Special dietary needs (such as lactose intolerance) are accommodated. The breakfast is served in a lavishly furnished common lounge that looks out towards the countryside. Self-service tea, coffee, and a kettle are available throughout the day in the lounge. There is no on-site restaurant, but the street has several excellent dining options within a 1-minute walk, including La Prosciutteria, Pastazuf, and Ravioli Wang, among others. The hosts are happy to recommend restaurants and can make reservations.

The B&B does not have a spa, swimming pool, gym, or wellness centre. The primary leisure benefit is the quiet, peaceful atmosphere: rooms overlook a garden and the Tuscan countryside, and the common lounge is spacious and elegantly furnished, offering a calm space to read or relax. Many restaurants, cafés, and bars are within a short walk for evening entertainment. The historic centre of Siena, including Piazza del Campo and the Duomo, is easily reached on foot, making exploration the main leisure activity.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Luggage storage is free and available before check-in or after check-out. The B&B is on the first floor with no lift - two flights of easily accessible stairs must be climbed; the hosts can help with luggage.
