The hotel is right next to Mathallen Oslo, a food market with over 30 vendors focusing on Norwegian and international ingredients. Grünerløkka district is a 5-minute walk away, with trendy bars and cafés. Oslo city centre and Karl Johans Gate shopping street are a 15-minute walk south. Bus stops for lines 34 and 54 are 50 metres from the hotel, providing a 10-minute trip to Oslo Central Station. The airport train from Gardermoen takes 20 minutes. The nearest tram stop is a 10-minute walk (650 metres). Public parking is available in an adjacent indoor garage (300 NOK/24h) but cannot be prebooked. A pedestrian path along the river connects to Nordmarka forest for walking.

All 180 rooms include heating, soundproof walls, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. No room has air conditioning-only a ventilation system that can be controlled manually. Rooms are generally basic and may feel dated; storage is limited to open hanging space rather than a wardrobe. Some rooms face the road and may suffer from traffic noise. Rooms facing Mathallen tend to be quieter in the evening. Natural light can be scarce in certain rooms, particularly those on lower floors or with a courtyard view. Single rooms have one bed, double rooms have one double or two single beds, and studios offer up to three beds and a terrace.

The breakfast buffet is served in a breakfast room on the lower level, accessed by lift. It includes hot items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, and omelettes, plus cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, muesli, pastries, fresh fruit, and a variety of bread.
