HOTEL LARENDE, Amsterdam

Standard Double Rooms come with a balcony, while Single Rooms do not. Rooms may feel compact, especially singles, but are generally clean and well-maintained. Harder mattresses are common - some travellers find them very firm, others comfortable. Road-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic and trams, particularly at night, so requesting a back-facing or courtyard-facing room improves sleep. All rooms offer air conditioning, heating, an electric kettle, a work desk, and ironing facilities. Superior Spa Rooms add a whirlpool bath. Some rooms have a terrace with garden views. Lift access is available to all floors. There are no connecting rooms, but some adjacent rooms can be arranged.

The on-site wellness elements are limited to the in-room spa bath available in Superior Spa Rooms and selected double rooms with a whirlpool feature. For those wanting to stay active, bicycle rental is available at an additional charge - an efficient way to explore the canals and museums. The hotel does not have a fitness centre, sauna, or swimming pool. However, the surrounding neighbourhood offers walking access to parks, canals, and the Foodhallen indoor market, which provides leisure shopping and dining within a few minutes on foot.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and typically reliable for remote work. The 24-hour reception offers concierge service, express check-in/out, and free luggage storage before check-in or after departure. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms clean; towels are changed daily. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. Safety features include a safe deposit box, CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. The lift serves all floors. Cots are available on request. Pets are not allowed. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Maestro, Bankcard, MasterCard. There is no on-site parking - public parking costs €54 per day nearby, or the P+R Bos en Lommer offers a discounted park-and-ride option about 2 km away.
