The hotel occupies a calm street in the Chamberi area, offering a more local base than the crowded tourist centre. San Bernardo Metro station is a 2-minute walk, connecting to Puerta del Sol in 4 stops, and Gran Via is a pleasant 15-minute walk. The neighbourhood is lined with tapas bars, cafés, bakeries (a bakery is next door), department stores and shops, making daily errands or meals easy on foot. For airport access, take Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios, switch to Line 4 and alight at San Bernardo. Taxis to Atocha station cost around €12-13. Higher-floor rooms often provide better views and quieter conditions than lower floors.

Rooms are clean and generally comfortable, with private bathrooms, parquet flooring, and plenty of natural light. Some larger rooms offer a separate seating area or a view of Alberto Aguilera Avenue. Twin/double rooms are available, and triple rooms may consist of three beds or two beds plus a sofa bed (80 cm wide, non-reclining). Triple rooms are compact, so light packers or short stays will find them more workable than guests with a lot of luggage. Rooms with a patio are also offered. Noise can be an issue in street-facing rooms and those on lower floors, but upper-floor rooms (e.g., 7th floor) are notably quieter. No rooms have a balcony.

Breakfast is a continental-style buffet with breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, and fresh fruit. It is available for an additional charge of €15 per person if purchased in the morning, or €12 if reserved the previous afternoon. The breakfast room can become busy, sometimes spilling into the seating area outside the dining space. The hotel does not have a proper restaurant for lunch or dinner; a fridge near reception sells drinks. The surrounding streets offer a wide choice of eateries: several bars and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Italian, Mexican, and local tapas spots.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi throughout, and luggage storage for same-day use. A concierge and tour desk can offer city and tour information. Private on-site parking costs €25.30 per day (reservation not required) and is undercover; guests arriving by car may prefer the Park&Sleep tariff.
