LIC MANHATTAN VIEW HOTEL, New York

Accommodation options include double rooms, family rooms, studios, and suites. Most rooms are equipped with a TV, work desk, free toiletries, and hairdryer. Some rooms have mini-fridges (rooms with two beds or specific suites). There are no kettles or coffee makers in rooms; a microwave is available in the lobby. Many rooms have windows that open. Rooms on higher floors (12th and above) offer expansive Manhattan views. The decor is functional and somewhat dated; carpets and furniture show wear. Air conditioning has been a persistent issue, with many reviews reporting non-functional AC. Some rooms have motion-activated lights that may turn on automatically. Soundproofing is limited; noise from corridors and neighboring rooms can be heard. The Deluxe Two Queen Room and suites like Brooklyn or Bronx are recommended for better space and views.

The hotel no longer offers a breakfast service. However, guests have access to a self-service area with coffee, tea, and hot water at all times. There is a microwave in the lobby for heating food. A deli and several cafes are located across the street and within a short walk, providing affordable breakfast and snack options. The lobby dining area with terrace seating is available for consuming takeaway food.

The hotel's fitness centre is not available at this time due to ongoing renovations. No other leisure or wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, or sauna are offered on-site.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout (though speed has been reported as slow). Luggage storage is complimentary before check-in and after check-out. Daily housekeeping is provided, but some reviews note inconsistency. Express check-in and check-out are available. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. A lift serves all floors. Wheelchair access is available with grab rails and braille signage. Security features include CCTV, key card access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited throughout the property, including balconies. The hotel can receive packages for guests. A refundable $150 security deposit is required at check-in. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Discover, MasterCard.
