THE FLAT NYC, New York

The Flat NYC sits in the heart of Manhattan with a location score of 9.4. The Flatiron Building is a 3-minute walk away, and the Empire State Building is less than 1 km. Bryant Park and Grand Central Station are within easy reach. Multiple subway stations are a short walk, making it simple to reach Times Square, Midtown, or Lower Manhattan. The area is safe and walkable, with Eataly across the street and numerous restaurants - including Tacombi and Hill Country Barbecue Market - within 0.5 km. LaGuardia Airport is 12 km away.

The property offers 3-star accommodation across five floors with no elevator. Rooms feature air conditioning, parquet floors, work desk, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Suites (king, queen, double, single) have a private bathroom with a shower. Standard rooms (king, double, single) include an in-room sink and share two bathrooms per floor - each typically shared among five guests. All rooms have windows, though some are set high and may not provide a standard view. The building has thin walls and windows that may not be fully sealed, so street and corridor noise is common. Air conditioning units are window-mounted and can be loud if positioned near the bed. Beds vary in comfort; some are reported as firm or creaky. There is no built-in wardrobe, but hooks and a chair are provided.

The hotel offers 24-hour front desk service with concierge. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Security includes key card access, CCTV, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms. Luggage storage can be used before check-in and after check-out at no charge. Hair dryers and irons are available upon request. The property is cash-free; only credit cards (Amex, Visa, Discover, MasterCard) are accepted. A refundable $150 security deposit is required upon arrival. There is no elevator, so guests with heavy luggage should pack light. Daily housekeeping is not automatic but can be arranged by asking the front desk.
