PREMIER INN LONDON ELTHAM, London

The hotel sits on a major road junction, yet rooms are generally quiet due to soundproofing. For car-free travel, multiple bus routes run directly from the stop outside, and New Eltham station (15 minutes on foot) provides trains to London Bridge in under 30 minutes. The DLR at Herons Quays is also a 5-minute walk away for Canary Wharf and central connections. Several local restaurants such as Leones, Ababil Tandoori, and Le Spice are within a 0.3 to 1 km walk. For families, playgrounds and tennis courts are about 5 minutes away on foot. The hotel is a practical base for exploring the area or central London, though the immediate surroundings are not pedestrian-friendly for late-night dining.

All rooms feature carpeted floors, a work desk, tea/coffee making facilities, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The air conditioning is free and effective, but windows are sealed, so the AC is the only ventilation source. Some rooms have a musty or smoke smell that the air conditioning can usually clear. Bed comfort is consistently rated highly, and the family rooms (e.g., Room 118) are notably spacious. However, noise from the floor above can be noticeable in some rooms, and the hotel's decor and furniture show signs of wear. The self-service check-in kiosk is a point of friction, and the entrance doors have been reported as broken on multiple stays, affecting security. Accessible rooms are available and are often used to accommodate overbooking, but these may also have musty smells.

The property itself has no wellness or fitness facilities. For outdoor recreation, there are playgrounds and tennis courts about a 5-minute walk away in Eltham, which families with children may find useful. The hotel's location is also convenient for walks along the river tunnels leading to East London, but this is not an on-site amenity.
