HOTEL LIRICO, Rome

The hotel is located on a quiet street adjacent to the Teatro dell'Opera, with the Viminale Palace 50 metres away. Termini Station is a 5-minute walk, offering direct train and metro connections across the city and to both airports. The Repubblica metro station (Line A) is a few minutes away, making it easy to reach Vatican City or the Spanish Steps. The area is safe and lively, with numerous restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket within a short walk. For drivers, the hotel is inside the ZTL; parking is available at nearby garages starting from €30 per day, and a special permit can be requested for daytime access. The central location allows walking to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon in 15-25 minutes.

The hotel offers double, twin/double, and triple rooms. Standard double rooms are compact but well-equipped with soundproof walls, anti-allergy mattresses available, a minibar, electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Bathrooms have a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some rooms have views of the Opera House square; inner courtyard rooms are quieter but lack a view. There are no rooms with a balcony. The lift serves only from the 1st floor upwards, so guests must climb 20 steps to check-in (staff assist with luggage). Bed comfort varies: some report firm mattresses and thin pillows, while others find them comfortable. Triple rooms are suitable for small groups but are compact. The hotel can provide extra cots on request. A safety deposit box is available at an additional charge. Wi-Fi signal strength can be weak in some rooms.

Breakfast includes fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereals, bread, cheese, cold cuts, boiled eggs, and hot drinks including excellent cappuccino. Gluten-free options are available on request, and special dietary menus can be arranged. Guests can also order breakfast in their room. The 24-hour bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants and cafes within a 2-5 minute walk, offering everything from Roman cuisine to street food. For those who prefer to eat out, the hotel staff provide recommendations.

Although the hotel lacks on-site wellness facilities, the area offers many opportunities for leisure. Bicycle rental and bike tours are available for an extra charge, as are walking tours. Bowling is available off-site. Live sport events are broadcast free of charge in common areas. For relaxation, the nearby Opera House and surrounding squares provide evening entertainment.
