The hotel sits at the foot of the Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal, placing it at the very heart of Venice's tourist and commercial life. The Rialto vaporetto stop (line 1) is a short walk away, making water transport to the train station, airport and other islands straightforward. Within 200 m are the Rialto Fish Market, the Frari Church and the Mercerie shopping street leading to St. Mark's Square. Restaurants, bars and shops surround the hotel on all sides. For art lovers, the Accademia Gallery is a 15-minute walk, the Ca' Pesaro modern art gallery is two vaporetto stops from Rialto, and the Giardini della Biennale is about 30 minutes on foot. The location is ideal for walking - most major sights are reachable without any transport. However, the area is very busy with tourist crowds even late in the evening, and some rooms facing the alley or street can be noisy early in the morning due to restaurant deliveries and tourist traffic.

Room categories range from Classic (small, best for short stays) through Superior (more spacious, better materials) to Luxury rooms, of which only two have a private balcony with a direct view of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Luxury rooms without the canal view still feature Venetian baroque decor but lack the balcony. The Deluxe without view can accommodate extra beds for families. All rooms include air conditioning, soundproof walls, a safety deposit box and satellite TV. Some rooms have coffee and tea making facilities.
