HOTEL MINERVE, Paris

The hotel is on Rue Monge in the 5th arrondissement, opposite Maison de la Mutualité. Jussieu Metro (line 10) is 300 m away, giving direct access to the Louvre. Bus routes 63, 67 and 89 stop nearby, connecting to Orsay Museum, Eiffel Tower, Gare de Lyon, Montmartre and Montparnasse. The Rue des Écoles is 17 m away. The area is busy until late with cafés, restaurants, and bars on the same street. The Panthéon and Luxembourg Gardens are within a 15-minute walk. Paid guarded parking is available 50 m from the hotel.

Room types include Single, Single Superior, Double Superior, Twin Superior, Executive Design Double, and Junior Suite. Superior twin rooms are larger than classic twins; some face the street. Design executive rooms and some superior twins have balconies - request these at booking. Some rooms feature exposed beams and stone walls. Rooms are compact by Paris standards, with the smallest being very compact; some bathrooms are particularly small with the sink in the bedroom. Rooms facing the courtyard tend to be quieter, while those facing the street may receive light from daytime noise. Road-facing rooms can hear the metro rumble. Soundproofing between rooms is limited. Air conditioning is individually controlled and effective during heat. Rooms have no mini-fridge; ice can be requested from reception. Electric kettles are provided. Daily cleaning is standard; some rooms may have old carpet or dated furnishings.

The breakfast buffet includes breads, mini pastries, butter, honey, jam, chocolate spread, cereals, yoghurt, cheese, ham, eggs, dried fruits, applesauce, juices and hot drinks from a WMF machine. Breakfast is charged separately and is not included in the room rate. It can be served in the room upon request. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel. The surrounding streets offer numerous cafés, bistros and bakeries within a 3-minute walk. A vending machine with drinks and snacks is available on-site.

The hotel does not offer wellness facilities such as a spa, sauna, or swimming pool. For leisure, Jardin des Plantes (botanical gardens) is 600 m away, and Luxembourg Gardens is within a 15-minute walk. The location is well suited for walking to major sights: the Pantheon is a 10-minute walk, and Notre-Dame is 10 minutes on foot.
