Located 10 km from Hamburg Airport, the hotel is a 19-minute walk (or a quick S-Bahn ride) from Hamburg Central Station and 3 km from Inner Alster Lake. The immediate surroundings are a blend of offices and wide roads, with ongoing construction in the area; nearby restaurants and cafés are limited but a few are within a 5-10 minute walk (Bistro Vegetario, Brot & broetchen). The S-Bahn and U-Bahn at Berliner Tor provide direct routes to the airport, city centre, and major attractions such as Miniatur Wunderland (3 km). The area is quiet in the evenings but can feel dark and uninviting due to the office-dominated setting and construction works.

Rooms are air-conditioned and come as doubles (one bed) or twins (two beds), each with a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The beds are firm, and the pillows are thick and hard. Storage is minimal: no wardrobe or drawers - only a few hangers on a wall rack, meaning you'll need to live out of your suitcase. There is no minibar, kettle, safe, or telephone in the room. A motion-activated light under the bed can be annoying at night. Road-facing rooms and rooms near the lift can be noisy from traffic, construction, and the lift 'ping' - rooms overlooking the inner courtyard are quieter. Single duvets (not shared) are available on request; the default is a single shared duvet per double bed.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cheese, cold cuts, hot scrambled eggs, fruit salad, and vegan items. Coffee and drinks come from automatic machines.
