MyCUBE by MYSTAYS Asakusa Kuramae is situated in a calm, residential pocket of Tokyo just steps from Kuramae Station (Toei Asakusa and Oedo lines). The Asakusa Line provides a direct ride to Haneda Airport in about 40 minutes and to Narita Airport with a single transfer. Within a short walk, you reach Asakusa's Sensoji Temple, the Edo Tokyo Museum, and Tokyo Skytree (11 minutes by train). The area is quiet at night but lined with convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart), chain restaurants, and coffee shops - McDonald's and Sukiya are next door. For Shibuya or Shinjuku, expect a roughly 25-30 minute metro journey. The neighbourhood is well-lit and feels safe even after dark.

The accommodation consists of single-person capsules arranged in open dormitory-style rooms on gender-separated floors. Each capsule is equipped with a flat-screen TV, dimmable lighting, a foldable shelf, hangers, a mirror, a power outlet, a USB port, and a small lock-safe for valuables. The mattress is firm but comfortable. Under-bed storage (100 cm x 100 cm x 30 cm) fits two large suitcases and can be locked with the provided key. The capsules do not have doors - only a curtain - so sound carries, and corridor light seeps through the curtain. The sleeping halls are heated and air-conditioned, but some periods of warmer than desired temperature have been reported, especially during winter. Smoking is not allowed in rooms; a designated smoking area is available. The second-floor lounge is open 24 hours with manga, tables, sofas, and power outlets.

MyCUBE by MYSTAYS Asakusa Kuramae does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast. The property provides a vending machine for drinks and a 24-hour lounge where you can eat your own food. For meals, you are steps away from Sukiya (24-hour gyudon), McDonald's, ramen shops, and a Japanese teishoku restaurant. Several convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Daily Yamazaki) within 1-2 minutes sell bento, onigiri, and drinks. The lounge on the second floor offers a comfortable space with tables, chairs, and power outlets for eating or working.

The property does not have a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. Leisure activities are limited to the 24-hour shared lounge on the second floor, which includes a manga library (some English titles) and comfortable seating. The quiet neighbourhood is ideal for a stroll along the Sumida River to Asakusa (about a 15-20 minute walk). For cultural sightseeing, Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Skytree are within easy reach by foot or short metro ride.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is free of charge. The 24-hour front desk provides free luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, as well as package acceptance for guests. Laundry is available for an additional charge (300 yen wash, 100 yen per 30 minutes drying). A safety deposit box at the front desk can store larger valuables such as laptops.
