NEHAL HOTEL, Abu Dhabi

Nehal Hotel is situated in downtown Abu Dhabi, placing the Corniche promenade, Abu Dhabi Mall, and numerous restaurants within a short walk. The A1 airport bus stop is just across the street, providing a direct and affordable transfer from Abu Dhabi International Airport (20 km away). Public transport links also connect to major attractions and the beach, making a car unnecessary for most trips. The hotel's central position is ideal for accessing shopping, dining, and leisure options on foot, though the extreme daytime heat in summer makes walking less comfortable.

Rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV, an electric kettle, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Some suites include a kitchenette, a separate living room, a washing machine, a dryer, and soundproof walls. The property offers both standard rooms and spacious suites. While room cleanliness and comfort are generally noted positively, some units show signs of age and may have dusty carpets, dated furniture, or weak soundproofing. Road-facing rooms can be noisier. Sealed windows in some rooms prevent fresh air circulation, and the air conditioning can be either too weak or too cold. For light sleepers, a room away from the corridor and road is recommended. The property includes a lift, though one instance of lift failure has been noted.

The DAY GOURMET RESTAURANT serves an international menu with Halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Breakfast is a buffet (continental and full English/Irish) available from 06:00 to 11:30 daily at an additional charge of AED 45 per person. The breakfast is considered reasonable for the price. 24-hour room service is available, though response times may vary. Numerous restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, providing a wide choice for other meals. The hotel also offers a coffee house on site and a kid-friendly buffet.

The hotel features a fitness centre available at no extra cost, along with a spa offering additional services. The Corniche promenade is a 10-minute walk away, providing a scenic route for walking, jogging, or cycling. Given the central location, public transport and nearby malls offer further leisure options. The fitness centre and spa are practical additions for those wanting to maintain a workout routine or relax without leaving the hotel.
