The NH München City Süd, formerly known as NH München am Ring, is in southeast Munich, in the Ramersdorf - Perlach district. It is located near the main ring road and the highway towards Salzburg. The hotel is 2 miles from Munich city center, including Marienplatz and the cathedral. Bus line 55 stops outside the hotel. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive to central Munich, or a 25- to 30-minute trip on public transportation. Bus line 55 stops right outside the door. The Metro gets you to the center and Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest) in about 20 minutes. You can take the S8 or the S1 from Munich Airport, which departs every 20 minutes, to get to the station "Ostbahnhof". From the Munich main station, you can take one of the S1-S8 trains in the direction of Ostbahnhof (main train station).
