The hotel sits one block from South Beach and Ocean Drive, placing it within a short walk of Lincoln Road Mall (1 km), the Miami Beach Cinematheque (322 m), and scores of restaurants, bars, and clubs. The free trolley and several bus stops are nearby, making car-free exploration easy. Miami International Airport is an 18-minute drive away; the cruise terminal is about 20 minutes by bus (line 120 then Coral Way). Rooms facing the street can experience traffic and nightlife noise, and some rooms overlook a restaurant's waste area. The location is excellent for walkers and those wanting to be in the centre of South Beach activity, but light sleepers should request a quieter room.

All rooms are studios with a queen bed and a sofa bed, a private bathroom (bath or walk-in shower), air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable, a mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee machine. A portable electric stove can be requested at the front desk. Rooms with balconies or patios are not available; windows face either the street or an adjacent wall, so external views are absent. Some rooms are above the on-site restaurant, and noise from its kitchen, ventilation, and waste collection can be an issue. Several sources note that air-conditioning units can be loud and that bathrooms may have limited ventilation (windows cannot be opened). Room size is generally considered spacious, but the furniture and décor are described as older and basic rather than modern. A sofa bed serves as the second bed and may be less comfortable than a traditional mattress. Daily housekeeping and towel changes are provided.

Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:30 in the lobby area and includes bread, croissants, bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, milk, orange juice, waffles, and hot drinks. The selection is continental and basic - no hot proteins, eggs, or cheese. Guests collect their own tray and may eat at a few outdoor tables or take the tray back to their room. Tea, coffee, and water are available free throughout the day at the 24-hour reception. The on-site restaurant, Il Pastaiolo, serves Italian cuisine and is open from 12:00 to midnight daily. Many other dining options are within a three-minute walk, including Osteria Del Teatro, Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery, Naked Taco, and The Garden Bar & Grill.

The hotel does not have its own pool or spa. Instead, it offers a designated beach area through the Boucher Brothers concession on South Beach, one block away. Each room receives two free beach loungers and towels for the day. For fitness, daily discounted passes are available to a local off-site fitness facility. Cyclists, canoeing, diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, and fishing can be arranged at the beach (some activities at an additional charge).

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk offers multi-lingual staff, concierge service, safety deposit boxes (free), and luggage storage at no charge for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping and towel changes are standard. A business centre with fax/photocopying (surcharge) and an ATM are available. On-site parking is not provided; valet parking costs $30-$43 per night (unlimited in/out), and a municipal parking garage one block away charges $20-$25 per day or $2.00 per hour. The hotel is wheelchair accessible. Pets (up to 22.7 kg) are allowed with a $150 non-refundable fee.
