OKANAGAN SEASONS RESORT, Kelowna

The Okanagan Seasons Resort is set on 2 hectares, offering a surprising amount of green space in a convenient city location. It's a 5-minute drive from Orchard Park Shopping Centre and a 10-minute drive from Prospera Place and the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Several wineries, including Bounty Cellars, are within 10 minutes by car. Restaurants like Bin 4 Burger Lounge and Yamato Japanese Cuisine are about a 10-minute walk away. The property's position near the highway provides easy access, but rooms facing the main road can experience traffic noise; rooms opening onto the courtyard are quieter. Public bus routes to downtown are available and take about 20 minutes.

The resort offers a range of accommodations from standard double rooms to spacious family suites and holiday homes. Standard rooms feature a queen bed, mini-fridge, and coffee maker, but no kitchen facilities. Larger suites come with fully equipped kitchens including a stovetop, oven, and kitchenware. Many rooms open onto a shared grassy courtyard, adding to the resort feel. Bedding and pillows are generally comfortable and several linens have been upgraded. However, the property is older and room conditions vary significantly. Some rooms have been reported as clean and adequate, while others have issues with dated fixtures, cleanliness, and noise. Light sleepers should request a room away from the road.

The Okanagan Seasons Resort does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. Guests staying in rooms with kitchenettes or full kitchens can prepare their own meals. For others, a range of dining options is a short drive or 10-minute walk away, including Bin 4 Burger Lounge, Basil Leaf Asian Noodle House, and Yamato Japanese Cuisine. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available on site.

The resort provides practical facilities for a self-sufficient stay. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed. Services include a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping (limited to towel changes in some instances), laundry facilities, and free luggage storage. A safety deposit box is available. Pets are allowed for a $20/night fee with advance notice. Payment can be made in cash, but a credit card is required for the $300 damage deposit. The front desk can provide items like an iron on request.
