The hotel sits in a quiet, safe residential area between Museumplein and Vondelpark. Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, and Moco Museum are within an easy walk. Leidseplein is a 12-minute walk; Dam Square is 30 minutes on foot. The nearest tram stop (Museumplein) is a 5-minute walk, connecting directly to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Bus 397 from Schiphol Airport stops at Museumplein (30 minutes). On Saturdays, a local market with cheese, fish, and handcrafted products sets up on the square in front. PC Hooftstraat (exclusive shopping) and several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. The neighbourhood is quiet but close to the city's main attractions, making it ideal for travellers who prefer a less touristy base.

Rooms range from the compact Single (10 m2, ground floor, garden view/access) and Small Double (11 m2, 140 cm bed) to the Standard Double (14 m2, 160 cm bed), Superior Double (18 m2, 180 cm bed), Superior Twin (18 m2, two 90 cm beds), and Executive Double (21 m2, 180 cm bed, seating area). All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, free toiletries, hairdryer, and (in many rooms) slippers. Some rooms have air conditioning; rooms without AC have a fan. Balconies are available but cannot be guaranteed. Several rooms overlook the garden or the church opposite. Soundproofing is uneven - road-facing rooms and rooms near the lobby/breakfast area can hear corridor noise and church bells (every 30 minutes, 7:00-22:00). Rooms are compact, especially at the lower end; the Executive is most spacious. The property is renovated, but some rooms show wear (scuffed paint, stained carpet). Daily housekeeping is provided.

The breakfast buffet includes breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, hot drinks, and fresh orange juice. Vegetarian options are available, and special diet menus can be requested in advance. Breakfast is served in a bright room with garden access - many choose to eat outside in fine weather. The Trust Bar in the lounge offers a selection of refreshments, wines, beers, soft drinks, fruits, and snacks; guests record consumption and it is added to the bill (open 12:00-00:00). A coffee house on site provides coffee throughout the day. Several restaurants are within a short walk: Cannibale Royale (steaks, burgers, ribs, relaxed atmosphere), Ristorante Pizzeria Le 4 Stagioni (Italian, 0.5 km), Cafe Gruter (0.5 km), and Bagels & Beans (0.5 km). For those who prefer to eat in, room service is not available, but breakfast in the room can be arranged.

The garden is a peaceful, green oasis with tables and chairs - ideal for reading, having a drink, or enjoying breakfast outdoors. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel (limited number) to explore the city at your own pace. Vondelpark, Amsterdam's largest park, is a 2-minute walk away, offering jogging paths, picnic spots, and outdoor cafes (Groot Melkhuis, Park Zuid). Cycling is a popular activity in the area. There is no swimming pool, spa, gym, or sauna on site.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in/out at any hour (including late arrivals). Staff speak English and Spanish. Luggage storage is free and available before check-in and after check-out, allowing guests to explore the city without bags. Daily housekeeping is included (some rooms are serviced only upon request, so confirm at reception if you want daily cleaning). A safety deposit box is available for valuables. A welcome drink is offered on arrival. The hotel operates a non-smoking policy throughout. Payment can be made by Visa, Maestro, or MasterCard. A €150 deposit is held at check-in and released after room inspection at check-out. Cots are available on request. The lift serves all floors, but some areas have steep stairs. Key card access and CCTV are used for security. No parking is available.
