ORANGE TREE INN, Santa Barbara

The inn is less than 2 km from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and within 5 km of Ty Warner Sea Center, the Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens, and the zoo. East Beach and Stearns Wharf are a short drive away. Freeway access is convenient, and the property offers easy walking access to numerous restaurants, cafes, and the Paseo Nuevo shopping center. The neighborhood includes a 7-Eleven and gas station adjacent, and the sister property with a restaurant is up the street.

Accommodations range from single king rooms to double-bed and suite options. Many rooms feature a private bathroom with either a walk-in shower or tub. Some rooms have been recently updated, while others show signs of wear. Metal bed frames can produce noise when bumped. Most rooms do not include a refrigerator, but a shared fridge is available in the lobby. The property has a mix of room sizes; some are spacious with a courtyard patio or balcony. Pillows and mattresses vary in comfort. The property is spread across two floors with no elevator, so ground-floor rooms are recommended for those with mobility concerns.

The Orange Tree Inn's coffee bar provides a variety of freshly brewed coffees, beer, and snacks, along with free Wi-Fi. There is no breakfast service on site. For full meals, the sister property, Lemon Tree Inn, houses The Crocodile restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, multiple dining options are within walking distance, including Cajun Kitchen Cafe, IHOP, and local favorites. A vending machine with drinks is also available.

The pool area is a pleasant spot for relaxation, with ample seating and a tropical courtyard setting. The pool is heated and open all year, though seasonal maintenance may affect availability. There is no spa, gym, or other fitness facilities on site. The pool is for hotel guests only.
