Downtown State Street is four blocks from the property, while Stearns Wharf and the Sea Center marine museum are less than 2 km. Local dining options such as Rudy's Mexican Restaurant, The Neighborhood, and The Brewhouse are all within a few hundred metres. The property is right next to Santa Barbara City College and Pershing Park. For longer trips, the free bike rentals make exploring the area effortless.

Rooms are spacious but have a dated feel with older furnishings and dark carpets. Standard rooms offer a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig-style coffee maker, and bathrobes.
