HOTEL ORLANDO BY PLI, London

The hotel sits in a residential area between two main Tube lines, giving direct access to central London via the Hammersmith & City, Piccadilly, District and Central lines. Buses run almost to the entrance, and bus route 9 connects to many major attractions. Westfield London shopping centre is a short walk or bus ride away, and a large Tesco supermarket is within 3 minutes on foot. The nearest car parks are a 1-2 minute drive, but there is no on-site parking. The location is ideal for event-goers visiting the Eventim Apollo and Olympia, and the surrounding streets are safe, well-stocked with restaurants and pubs, but the area is busy and some streets can be noisy, particularly those near the police and fire stations.

The property offers a range of room types - single, double, twin, triple, quadruple, family rooms, studios, and a one-bedroom apartment. Most rooms are basic and compact, with some described as cramped, particularly the smaller double and single units. A limited number of rooms have been recently renovated with modern finishes and are more spacious, while others are older with worn decor, stained carpets, and poor soundproofing. Road-facing rooms can be very noisy, with traffic and siren noise audible even with windows closed. Noise from neighbouring rooms is common due to thin walls and doors. Some rooms are in the basement, which may have a mould smell and less natural light. The apartment option includes a separate living room, bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, stove, toaster), a washing machine and a patio. Hairdryers and irons are available on request. Note that no fridges are provided in standard rooms, and some rooms do not have carpets, which may suit allergy sufferers.

There is no breakfast service or on-site dining, but each room includes a kettle with tea bags, coffee, sugar, and milk upon arrival - replenishment during stays is not guaranteed. A nearby restaurant, Acropolis (80 Shepherds Bush Rd, a 1-minute drive), serves full breakfasts and opens at 11:00. The surrounding location offers a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs within a short walk, including Thai, Japanese, Turkish cuisine, bakeries and fish and chips. For self-catering, a large Tesco is a 3-minute walk, and some rooms are equipped with a kitchen.

Wellness and fitness facilities are not present on site. The wider area around London offers water sports and boating activities, and the hotel can arrange cycling and movie nights as recreational options. For indoor leisure, Westfield London shopping centre is a short walk away.
