The hotel sits at the corner of Pine and 1st, directly across from Pike Place Market. Westlake Station (light rail to Sea-Tac Airport, monorail to Seattle Center) is a 2-minute walk. Seattle Aquarium is 6 minutes on foot, the Great Wheel is 0.5 km away, and the Space Needle is a 19-minute walk. The waterfront and ferry terminal are a 5-10 minute walk. The area is energetic with many restaurants, cafes, and shops within a block, though some nearby streets can feel less safe late at night. The hotel provides a security guard and locks the entrance door after 9:00 PM. Easy access to the cruise pier (Uber or taxi recommended).

Rooms are on the smaller side, especially standard king and queen rooms, with limited surface space for luggage and toiletries. The sink is often located outside the main bathroom area. Rooms come with a Smeg mini-fridge stocked with paid items, a safe, and a Nespresso machine. Deluxe King or Deluxe Queen rooms offer slightly more space and better views (market/waterfront). Courtyard rooms face an interior wall or other rooms and can feel dark. Road-facing rooms on lower floors receive significant street noise; earplugs are provided. Single-pane windows are common and open only a few inches. Lighting is dimmable but often described as dark and impractical for makeup. The bathroom has a rainfall shower (some with a tub), and toiletries are from Diptyque. The bed is comfortable, but some have reported lumpy mattresses in certain rooms. The overall vibe is moody, retro, and design-focused.

The hotel's restaurant and bar offers a breakfast menu, lunch, and dinner (limited hours - closed for dinner Sunday and Monday). Meals are also available via room service during restaurant hours. The menu features American classics; the biscuits and French toast are highlights. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. A welcome drink voucher (one per room) is provided. The restaurant can be closed or limited on certain days, so check in advance for dinner plans. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes within a 2-block walk, including Le Panier and Biscuit Bitch.

Leisure options are limited to the in-house bar and a small library/lounge area. Free bicycle rental is available for exploring the city. The Seattle waterfront, Pike Place Market, and downtown attractions are all within walking distance, making the hotel itself a base for city exploration rather than a destination for on-site wellness.

Pets are allowed with a US$125 fee (pets cannot be left alone in the room).
