The immediate area includes a transient population and some litter outside the property perimeter; the hotel itself feels safe and secure. Walking alone outside the property at night may not feel comfortable. The location is practical for drivers: free parking is ample, and the airport is 7 minutes away. Downtown Kelowna is about 5 km (10 minutes by car), Lake Okanagan is 8 km, and Geert Maas Sculpture Gardens Gallery is 6 km. Several restaurants are within walking distance, including JOEY Kelowna (1 km) and a Japanese bistro (0.5 km).

Rooms range from double and quadruple configurations to two-bedroom suites and kitchenette-equipped Efficiency rooms.
