Posh South Beach places you right in the heart of South Beach, on Collins Avenue, just a 3-minute walk from the sand. The surrounding area is lively, with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. Lincoln Road Mall is 2 km away. Bus stops nearby connect you to the rest of Miami Beach and an airport bus route; Miami International Airport is 16 km away. For travel to downtown, ride-sharing services are more reliable than public transit. The area is walkable for most daily needs, making a car unnecessary for exploring the neighbourhood.

All accommodation is in large, single-room dormitories with up to 58 bunk beds, offering no private rooms. Each bed includes a lockable drawer (39x30x9 inches) for personal items, though it does not fit a full-size suitcase. Bedding, pillows, blankets, and a towel are provided. The shared bathrooms have communal showers with no private changing areas. Some upper bunks have very limited headroom. The dormitories are open spaces with no doors separating them from the common areas, so noise from conversations, TV, and kitchen activity can be heard throughout. Air conditioning keeps the rooms cool, but the lack of individual lighting and power points near each bed can be inconvenient. Rooms facing the street may be noisier due to the lively South Beach area.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the hostel, but the shared kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances, a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and cookware, allowing you to prepare your own meals. The kitchen, lounge, and laundry area are in the same open-plan space as the dormitories, so cooking and social activity can be heard from the sleeping area. A complimentary happy hour with margaritas is offered nightly at the Whitelaw Bar and Lounge next door. Don Sombrero Mexican Restaurant is located within the property and serves lunch and dinner. Several other dining options, including cafes and restaurants, are within a 2-minute walk.

The rooftop infinity pool is a key leisure feature, open from sunrise to sunset daily and available throughout the year. Sun loungers and pool towels are provided. The pool terrace is a popular social spot and offers a place to relax after a day at the beach, which is a 3-minute walk away. There is no gym on site, but staff can recommend nearby fitness centres. No planned activities or events are organised by the hostel.

The 24-hour front desk provides concierge and tour desk services. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. A launderette is on site (requires quarters; staff cannot provide change). Lockers are provided under each bed, but luggage storage is not available before check-in or after check-out. The property can hold packages for up to 7 days before arrival (free for up to 5 packages, $5 plus tax per package thereafter; insurance recommended). Key card access and CCTV are in place for security. The lift was noted to operate only in one direction at times. No parking is available on site; the nearest public garage is a 2-minute walk.
