The President Hotel sits in Bloomsbury, a central neighbourhood with easy access to the West End and major transport hubs. Russell Square tube (Piccadilly line) is a 2-3 minute walk, offering direct trains to Heathrow and Covent Garden. King's Cross and St Pancras stations are a 10-15 minute walk away. Oxford Street, Covent Garden and theatreland are within 15-20 minutes on foot. The area has many restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops within a short walk. The hotel is within the Congestion Charge zone - driving should be planned accordingly.

Accommodation includes single, double, twin and triple rooms. All rooms are en-suite with a bath and hairdryer. Twin rooms have two single beds and some can accommodate an extra third bed (ideal for families or a group of 3 adults). Rooms on the 7th floor are accessed via a separate, older service-style lift - this floor also lacks air conditioning and has reported noise issues from building work. For a quieter stay, request a room on a lower floor facing the street. Some rooms have been renovated and feel modern, while others remain basic. No air conditioning is available; fans and heating are provided.

The Atrium Bar and Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner (Monday-Thursday 12:00-23:00, Friday-Saturday until midnight, Sunday 12:00-23:00), serving British and local cuisine. The breakfast buffet includes Full English/Irish, vegetarian options, fresh bread and pastries; it costs £17.50 per adult. Dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal can be catered for on request. A minimarket on site stocks travel essentials and snacks. The surrounding street has many nearby cafés and restaurants for additional choices.

Wellness and leisure facilities are limited to the Atrium Bar, which occasionally hosts live music performances. The hotel does not have a pool, spa or gym. The bar area is air-conditioned and provides a comfortable space for a drink or meal. Russell Square park is a short walk away for outdoor relaxation.

The hotel offers free WiFi in all areas, a 24-hour front desk, free daily housekeeping, and free luggage storage before check-in or after checkout - useful if you have a late flight. A lift is available (main lift to all floors; a separate, older lift serves the 7th floor only).
