The port of Hamburg is 700 metres away, and landmarks such as the Speicherstadt warehouse district and several musical theatres are a 10-minute walk. Public transport connections are excellent, with a metro station a few minutes' walk, making it easy to reach the city centre and other attractions. The immediate area around the hotel is lively day and night, with hundreds of bars, restaurants, and shops. Those arriving by car should reserve on-site parking, as the surrounding streets are busy. The hotel's central location also provides good access to the fish market and the waterfront.

Rooms at the a&o Hamburg Reeperbahn are functional and modern, available in different sizes including 16, 20, and 23 m². Options include single rooms, double rooms, and dormitories. Some rooms feature private bathrooms with a shower and hairdryer, while others have shared facilities in the hallway.
