HOTEL REGINA, Florence

The hotel sits in the lively heart of Florence, directly opposite the Central Market and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and street-food vendors. The Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery are all within a short walk. Tram line T1 from the airport stops within 200 metres, making car-free arrival straightforward. The area is pedestrian-friendly but can be noisy, especially on the market side, where activity begins around 5:00 AM. Rooms facing the inner courtyard are noticeably quieter, while those overlooking the square or market street may experience noise from late-night revelry and early-morning market machinery.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or offer breakfast. A bakery is located around the corner, and the Central Market opposite includes numerous food stalls and casual dining options. Several trattorias and pizzerias are within a 300-metre walk. The staff can recommend local eateries, and the shared lounge has a TV area for relaxation.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge only in the lobby and shared lounge. Guests have reported that cellular data coverage can also be weak or absent in rooms. Daily housekeeping is included at no extra cost. Express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out are available. Luggage storage is offered before check-in and after check-out, allowing late-day exploration of the city. Bicycle rental is available for an additional fee. There is no parking on site, but a private car park 200 metres away is available from €30 per night, with a driver to assist in parking the car. The lift starts from the first floor - guests must carry luggage up one flight to reach it.
