The Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery are all within a short walk. Tram line T1 from the airport stops within 200 metres, making car-free arrival straightforward. The area is pedestrian-friendly but can be noisy, especially on the market side, where activity begins around 5:00 AM. Rooms facing the inner courtyard are noticeably quieter, while those overlooking the square or market street may experience noise from late-night revelry and early-morning market machinery.

Rooms are simple and functional, with a desk, ceiling fan, and heating. Private bathrooms include a shower, while shared-bathroom rooms have a washbasin inside the room with toilet and shower in the corridor. Triple rooms have private bathrooms. There is no air conditioning - only a fan - which can be insufficient during summer heatwaves. Beds are firm but can be creaky or unstable. Rooms are cleaned daily, and towels are provided (hairdryer available on request at reception). Walls are not soundproofed; corridor and plumbing noise is audible. Rooms with windows to the inner courtyard are quieter; those facing the street can be affected by market and bar noise. Key amenities missing in all rooms: television, telephone, kettle, minibar, and safe.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or offer breakfast. A bakery is located around the corner, and the Central Market opposite includes numerous food stalls and casual dining options. Several trattorias and pizzerias are within a 300-metre walk. The staff can recommend local eateries, and the shared lounge has a TV area for relaxation.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge only in the lobby and shared lounge. Guests have reported that cellular data coverage can also be weak or absent in rooms. Daily housekeeping is included at no extra cost. Express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out are available. Luggage storage is offered before check-in and after check-out, allowing late-day exploration of the city. Bicycle rental is available for an additional fee. There is no parking on site, but a private car park 200 metres away is available from €30 per night, with a driver to assist in parking the car.
