The Republiek Hotel sits on a semi-pedestrianised street in the heart of the lively Hôtel-Dieu district, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and bars. Place Bellecour metro station is a one-minute walk, giving direct access to line D (serving Part-Dieu station and the Eurexpo centre) and line A (serving Perrache station). Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral and Lyon's Museum of Fine Arts are reachable on foot within 15 minutes. For drivers, paid public parking is available at République (at the end of the street) or Parking Bellecour - the hotel has no private parking. The area is highly walkable for sightseeing, with Vieux-Lyon, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, and the banks of the Rhône all accessible on foot.

Room categories include Single (9-10m2), Small Double (10m2, courtyard views), Classic Double (10-12m2, renovated in 2020), Comfort Double (11-14m2, with Nespresso machine and mini fridge), and Twin Comfort (13-14m2, two single beds). Single and smaller double rooms are compact and may feel tight for more than one person; those on the courtyard side are notably quieter. All rooms have private bathrooms (some Classic Doubles offer a bathtub), adjustable air conditioning, soundproofing, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kettle, and an in-room safe. Rooms are carpeted, and blackout curtains are provided. A baby cot and iron are available on request. The hotel has two accessible rooms with wider shower entries. No balconies are available.

The breakfast room serves a buffet with breads and mini-viennoiseries baked on-site, spreads, cereals, cheeses, cold meats, hard-boiled eggs, dried fruits, juice, and hot drinks.
