GARNER HOTEL DUBLIN TEMPLE BAR BY IHG, Dublin

The hotel sits on Dame Lane, right in the Temple Bar nightlife area, surrounded by pubs, restaurants, and attractions such as Dublin Castle (300 m), Chester Beatty Library, and the Book of Kells. Dublin Airport is 10 km away; bus route 16 stops a minute's walk away on Dame Street. This central position means most city sights are within walking distance, but the area is consistently busy and loud late into the night. The hotel provides earplugs to help manage the external noise, which can be significant.

There is no full restaurant on site. A bar lounge on the ground floor, The Disndat Bar, serves toasted sandwiches and drinks, with live music on some evenings. Hotel guests receive a 10-20% discount on drinks in this bar. The communal kitchen on each floor provides free tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate, and a fridge. Complimentary fruit (apples and bananas) and water are available in the lobby. For a full meal, a wide range of restaurants and pubs are within a few minutes' walk on Dame Street and Temple Bar.

The hotel's leisure offering is centred on the bar lounge and the lively Temple Bar area outside. No pool, spa, sauna, fitness centre, or recreational activities are provided on site. Bike hire is available for guests who wish to explore the city independently.

The 24-hour front desk offers security and assistance throughout the day and night. Luggage storage is available on the day of check-in and check-out only, not for longer periods. A shared kitchen on each floor includes a microwave, fridge, tea and coffee supplies, and ironing equipment. The laundry room has washers and dryers free to use. Free toiletries are provided in the bathrooms. Hairdryers can be requested at reception. No parking is available on site; a partnered Q-Park offers a 25% discount with a promo code. Card payment is the only method accepted. No pets are allowed.
