ROXFORD LODGE HOTEL, Dublin

The hotel sits in a residential area 2 km from the city centre, within a 10-minute walk of Lansdowne Road, the RDS, and the US Embassy. A bus stop outside the front gate provides regular services to Dublin Airport (Aircoach 701) and central Dublin, while the DART station at Grand Canal Dock is 800 metres away. Several restaurants, pubs, and cafés are within a 5-minute walk along Baggot Street and the surrounding roads. The neighbourhood is safe and calm, making it a good base for exploring the city on foot or by public transport.

Accommodation ranges from compact single and double rooms to spacious family rooms and the Executive Suite, which includes a king bed, large jacuzzi, and traditional Finnish sauna. Some rooms also offer infrared saunas, jet baths, or private balconies - these are limited and should be requested at booking. A few rooms are located in a separate coach house behind the main building; these are quieter but have separate external access. All rooms include a Smart TV, work desk, hairdryer, iron, and tea/coffee making facilities. Cots are available free of charge on request. Rooms facing the road may experience some traffic noise; rear-facing rooms are generally quieter.

The breakfast costs €10.50 per person (sometimes €8.50) and includes traditional Irish and continental items such as pastries, fresh fruit, yogurts, granola, and freshly baked scones. There is no restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but vending machines offer drinks and snacks. Several pubs and restaurants are within a short walk, including Slattery's Pub, Paulie's Pizza, and Cafe Boulevard. The dining room also offers a computer for guest use, and special dietary menus are available on request.

The Executive Suite and certain double rooms come with either a two-person jacuzzi bath, an infrared or Finnish sauna, or both - ideal for relaxing after a day in the city. These facilities are located within the private bathroom of the room and are available for guest use at any time. There is no communal spa, swimming pool, or gym on site.

The hotel provides express check-in/out, daily housekeeping, and a safety deposit box. Luggage storage is free of charge before check-in or after check-out. The car park has limited spaces, including three electric vehicle charging points, and operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. Key card access and CCTV ensure security. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, but smoking is allowed on balconies. No pets are permitted. A night porter is on duty after 11pm for late arrivals.
