Room sizes and conditions vary significantly. Some rooms are very small (especially attic singles, around 7m2), while others are spacious and bright. Noise can be an issue - thin walls and plumbing sounds carry, and rooms near reception or with hallway light sensors may disturb light sleepers; request a room away from these if possible. Heating is available, but no air conditioning; a fan can be borrowed from reception. Cleanliness is inconsistent - some rooms have stained linens or carpets, though daily housekeeping is standard. Most rooms have carpeted floors, electric kettles, and ironing facilities. Cots are free and some rooms can accommodate fold-up beds.

The breakfast is served in a shared lounge area and includes cooked items like Full Irish, as well as toast, cereals, and hot drinks. Quality varies - some find it plentiful and enjoyable, while others note watery eggs and limited selection. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in every room. The surrounding area has several pubs and restaurants within a short walk, and discounted rates at local bars may be available - inquire at reception.

The garden provides a peaceful spot to sit and read, especially in warmer months. The spacious lounge is a comfortable area for socialising or watching television.
