Roma Scout Center is located in a quiet residential area 500 metres from Roma Tiburtina Station, which provides direct train connections to Fiumicino Airport without needing a transfer. Bologna Metro Station (line B) is within a short walk, giving easy access to the city centre - the Colosseum is reachable by metro, and the Vatican is approximately 30 minutes away on public transport. Several bus lines stop nearby, and a Lidl supermarket is 5 minutes on foot. The neighbourhood feels authentic and non-touristy, with numerous restaurants and cafés within 0.3-0.5 km. For those arriving very early or departing late, the walk to Termini Station takes about 30 minutes.

Rooms range from private twin/double and family rooms with private bathrooms to 4-bed dorms. Family rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Dormitories feature bunks with personal lockers, reading lights, and USB/plug sockets by each bed - though locks for the lockers are not automatically included and may be available for a fee. Some dorms have a private bathroom inside the room, while others use shared external bathrooms. The accommodation is clean and spacious, with storage space and a desk in many rooms. Upper-floor rooms are accessible by lift. Note that there are no balconies.

La Cambusa is open for breakfast (07:30-10:00) and dinner (19:00-22:30) daily. Breakfast is available at an additional charge of €5 and includes a buffet with Italian-style options. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner featuring Italian dishes, with special diet menus available on request, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free meals. Kids' meals and a kid-friendly buffet are available. A snack bar and vending machines for drinks and snacks operate throughout the day, and a coffee house on site provides hot drinks.

The property does not have a spa, swimming pool, or gym. For downtime, there is a shared lounge/TV area with board games available. The surrounding residential neighbourhood offers local bars and cafés, and the accessible public transport makes it easy to reach Rome's main attractions.
