Royal Road Residence is centrally located in Prague's Old Town, a 4-minute walk to Charles Bridge and 400 metres to the Astronomical Clock. Old Town Square is 6 minutes on foot, and Prague Castle is 19 minutes away. The property is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops, and Vaclav Havel Airport is 12 km away. Some apartments are on streets with nightlife, so road-facing units with pubs below can be noisy until early morning. Higher-floor units or those facing the inner courtyard offer a quieter stay. A lift is available in the main building (Karlova 20), but a few entrance steps exist.

Each apartment includes a private bathroom, kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, kettle, and microwave, plus a separate dining and seating area. Bed configurations vary from double beds to sofa beds, with some units offering two bedrooms. Air conditioning with individual control is available in all apartments. While many rooms are spacious with high ceilings, some are compact. Balconies are available in select apartments and can be chosen during booking; they offer city views but not of Old Town Square. Some units in the second building (Karlova 18) have windows facing an inner courtyard with limited sunlight. The building has an elevator, though a few entrance steps lead to it.

Breakfast is available for an additional charge of €12 per person per day and is served in the room. Options include continental and à la carte choices with juice, fresh pastries, cheese, and fruits. A breakfast-to-go option is also available. Some apartments receive complimentary breakfast as a gesture.
