The bus terminal for long-distance and airport buses is around the corner, making the 747 airport bus a practical transfer option. Place des Arts and the Quartier des Spectacles are within a 15-minute walk, and Old Montreal and downtown can be reached on foot. The immediate area includes a supermarket, convenience stores, and several restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The street does see a homeless population, particularly near the old bus station behind the building; this may affect comfort for solo travellers walking alone at night, but the hostel itself remains accessible and central for sightseeing.

The accommodation mix includes private single, double, and twin rooms, as well as 4-bed, 6-bed, and 8-bed dormitories. All rooms are non-smoking and have air conditioning and tiled floors. Private rooms on floors 1 and 2 feature en-suite bathrooms; some double rooms also include a spa bath.
