The nearby area includes both pedestrian-friendly streets and some alleyways with transient presence; the hotel itself is quiet and behind security doors. The bus station is a 5-minute walk, and the train to Quebec City is 2 km away (12 minutes by public transport).

Room types include standard and larger double-bed options (up to 4 guests). All have private bathrooms, though many are described as tiny or with awkward layouts (e.g., shower splash, low ceiling in shower). Beds are consistently reported as comfortable, and some rooms have a double sofa bed. The decor is older and basic, with older fixtures and simple furniture. Some rooms face the street and may have noise from road traffic or nearby events; higher floors and courtyard-facing rooms are quieter. Air conditioning is provided via a window unit, which can be noisy. Rooms do not have smart TVs, phones, or blackout-lined curtains. The building has an elevator, but the corridors and stairwells are described as old with carpeting.
