The residence sits on the edge of Concordia University's campus, placing it within a 5-minute walk of the Guy-Concordia metro station (green line) and Lucien-L'Allier station (orange line). The 747 airport bus stops on Rene Levesque Boulevard nearby, offering a direct $11 connection to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. Restaurants such as 3 Amigos, Maison Phayathai, and Onoir are within 0.3-0.5 km. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is 600 metres away, and the Bell Centre is 500 metres away. The neighbourhood is safe, walkable, and well supplied with shops, bars, and grocery stores.

Rooms are spacious but spartan: each comes with a single or double bed, a desk with good lighting, a refrigerator, a sink, and a wardrobe. Private-bedroom layouts with ensuite bathrooms are available but limited and fill quickly. The building has no air conditioning; personal fans are provided but may not suffice during heat waves - opening windows increases outside noise from traffic. Wooden floors and security doors make hallways audible from within rooms, so lighter sleepers should prepare accordingly. Housekeeping is not automatic during a stay; daily cleaning can be requested at reception.

There is no restaurant or meal service at the residence. The shared pantry on each floor contains a microwave, toaster, kettle, and vending machines with drinks and snacks. For a full meal, Ste Catherine Street offers dozens of restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk (e.g., 3 Amigos, Onoir, Garage Beirut). The room's refrigerator allows guests to store their own groceries.

The garden is the main leisure facility - a quiet, green space with mature trees, a small pond, and picnic benches. There is no gym, pool, spa, or sports court. The shared lounge/TV area on each floor offers limited seating and a television. For more extensive leisure, the Bell Centre (500 m) hosts concerts and hockey games, and the Museum of Fine Arts (600 m) is a short walk.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Safety features include 24-hour security personnel, CCTV in common areas, key card access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. The laundry room operates via the Coinamatic app (no coins needed). Vending machines offer drinks and snacks. Reception is open 8:00-22:00; after-hours keys are collected from the security guard opposite the front desk. Early or late check-in/out is possible only by prior request and is subject to room availability. There is no lift from the ground floor to the main entrance - guests must carry luggage up a flight of stairs.
