The hostel is in a quiet residential area surrounded by greenery, 2 km from Ullevål Stadium and Oslo Ski Centre, and a 6-minute drive from the Norwegian Museum of Science, Technology and Medicine. The nearest metro station, Sinsen T, is a 3-5 minute walk, and bus 31 runs 24 hours. Flybussen airport buses stop at Sinsenkrysset, a 5-minute walk away; it takes approximately 20 minutes by car or 35 minutes by public transport to the airport. A grocery store is within a 10-minute walk. Driving is practical for city trips, but the tram and metro are efficient and avoid central parking costs.

Each room has an electric kettle, heating, hairdryer, and parquet floor. Private rooms include a private bathroom with a shower; shared bathroom rooms have toilets and showers in the hallway. Some rooms have a sink, fridge, and TV. Quadruple rooms, when booked as a private room, are not shared with other groups. Noise from thin walls and doors can affect sleep quality. A desk can be provided for single rooms on request. Rooms with a balcony are not available.

The breakfast buffet includes continental, Italian, gluten-free, American, and buffet options. Selection includes bread, cheese, ham, eggs (scrambled and boiled), baked beans, sausages, vegetables, fruit, and hot drinks. A breakfast package is available for those departing before the buffet starts. There is no restaurant on site, but a snack bar with drinks and snacks is available. Several cafés and a Greek restaurant are within walking distance; the kitchen can be used to prepare meals.

A large garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities is available. A disc golf course is adjacent to the property. Skiing can be arranged via rental services in the city (ski rental free of charge at BUA). Board games and puzzles are available. There is no spa or swimming pool on site.

The 24-hour front desk offers concierge, currency exchange, tour desk, and private check-in/out. Luggage storage is free. A shared lounge/TV area, library, and a meeting room (bookable in advance) are available. Daily housekeeping, ironing service, and laundry (with a fee) can be arranged. Accessibility features include wheelchair access, facilities for disabled guests, and some rooms are adapted for mobility needs. No lift is available; stairs are required between floors. Payment is by Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, UnionPay, or MasterCard; cash is accepted for bookings made directly.
