SIR TOBY'S HOSTEL, Prague

The hostel sits in the Holesovice district, a quieter area away from the tourist bustle. The tram stop is just 100 m away, making city-centre visits straightforward. For those who prefer to walk, the centre is a pleasant 30-minute stroll along the Vltava river. Several cafés, restaurants (Asian, vegetarian, traditional Czech), and supermarkets are within a 5-minute walk. The hostel offers a secure covered bike rack in the garden for cyclists. The location is practical for reaching the city quickly by tram, but the neighbourhood itself is not a nightlife hub.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, cheese, ham, cereals, fruit, and hot drinks. It is not included in the room rate and can be purchased at the bar. The shared kitchen on the ground floor is open 24/7 and equipped for cooking your own meals. The pub in the basement is a social hub offering Czech beer, wine, and occasional events. A weekly barbecue is held in the garden during warmer months. The hostel does not have a restaurant, so most lunch/dinner options are from nearby eateries (Asian, vegetarian, traditional Czech) within 5 minutes' walk.

Wellness facilities are absent - there is no sauna, gym, or swimming pool. The hostel focuses on social leisure with free evening entertainment including darts, karaoke, live sports broadcasts, and a game room. The garden has a picnic area, hammocks, and barbecue facilities. Free tours about local culture are offered. The neighbourhood has parks and the river nearby for a relaxing walk or jog. This section is best suited for travellers who prefer social activities over traditional wellness.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and there are five free-to-use computers. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and tour desk services. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in and after check-out. Lockers are provided under beds (bring your own lock; locks can be borrowed from reception). A laundry service is available at an additional charge. The property has a shared lounge, terrace, and sun terrace. The hostel is fully non-smoking (designated smoking area outside). Pets are not allowed. Payment can be made with Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, or MasterCard.
