In the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, just 200 metres from Waverley station and a short walk from the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and the National Museum of Scotland.
Edinburgh Airport is 10 km away, with direct tram and bus connections from Waverley station. The location is central and walkable; most major sights, including Camera Obscura (500 m) and Edinburgh Castle (1 km), are within a 10-minute walk. Numerous restaurants and pubs are clustered around the property, including Belushi's Bar located on site. No parking is available, but paid car parks are nearby. The area is lively, especially on weekends, with some street noise filtering into rooms.

Accommodation

Dormitory rooms (4-12 beds) and private double/twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms. All beds feature privacy curtains, individual lights, and USB sockets.
Private rooms include air conditioning, a coffee machine, and some have a TV. Dormitories have shared bathroom facilities; some rooms are located above the bar and may experience music noise until late. Rooms in the secondary building across the street have no lift access. Under-bed lockers are available (bring a padlock). Some rooms have no windows or limited ventilation. Bunk beds have limited headroom on the top bunk. Air conditioning is adjustable but may run cold. The room lacks wardrobe or chair; storage is largely limited to the under-bed locker.

Continental buffet breakfast available from 7-10 am at an additional charge of £6. Belushi's Bar serves American cuisine for lunch and dinner.
Breakfast includes bread, pastries, fruit, and hot drinks. Guests staying at the hostel receive a 25% discount on food and drinks at Belushi's Bar, which also broadcasts live sport events. A bar and coffee shop are on the premises. Several restaurants within a 3-minute walk offer alternative dining options, including Makars Gourmet Mash Bar and Angels with Bagpipes.
