TAVERNA SAN LIO, Venice

The property is located in the real heart of the city, placing most major landmarks within easy walking distance. The nearest water-bus stop (Rialto) is about 3-4 minutes away on foot, providing direct access to Venice Marco Polo Airport via the Alilaguna line. The immediate area is pedestrian-only, so all movement is on foot. The surrounding streets are filled with restaurants, shops, and gelaterias, making it a practical base for exploring. The location is very central and quiet for the area, with a quiet street view from rooms.

The property is a guest house with a restaurant, so there is no pool, spa, gym, or other leisure facilities. Guests looking for wellness amenities will need to explore options off-site. The surrounding area offers boating and walking tours, and the central location provides easy access to all of Venice's historic attractions.

Internet access is free and available throughout the property, though the signal strength can be weak in some rooms. Daily housekeeping is included and keeps rooms clean. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, which is very useful for exploring the city without bags. Check-in is handled at the restaurant on the ground floor, with separate access to the rooms on the first floor. The staff are helpful and can provide local tips and suggestions. The property has key access, smoke alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a safety deposit box. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. No parking is available, which is standard for central Venice. The building has no lift, so guests with mobility concerns should be aware that rooms are on the first floor.
