THE ARTIST HOUSE, Key West

The Artist House features seven rooms with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The Turret Suite has a queen sleigh bed, a sitting area with a 32' flat screen TV, a sofa, wood floor, two bathrooms, and a second-floor porch. The turret includes a double bed, a second TV, and seven windows around the 12 ft high space. The Master Suite has a 4-poster king bed, Dade County pine floors, a sofa, a TV, and a bathroom with a clawfoot slipper soaking tub and glass shower. The Gene Otto Suite features a carved wood 4-poster king bed, Dade County pine floors, a TV, and an en-suite bath. The Parlor Suite, originally the parlor, has a king-size 4-poster bed, wood floors, a sofa, a Smart TV, and an en-suite bath with a dual-headed glass shower. The Library Suite includes a queen bed, dresser, marble fireplace, polished wood floors, and a TV. Its bathroom provides access to a private balcony. The Garden Room on the second floor features a queen bed, dresser, armoire, TV, and Dade County pine floors. Its en-suite bathroom accesses a small private deck. The Tree Top Room features a queen bed, mini-fridge, private bath, and Smart TV, accessed via private stairs.

Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the Orchid Garden Courtyard, on public balconies, in-room, or on private balconies. The daily breakfast includes items such as Cuban breakfast sandwiches, quiche, breakfast tacos, pancakes, French toast, and waffles, with options varying daily. Consistent options include hot and cold cereals, fruit salad, breads, pastries, cheeses, and yogurts. An assortment of teas, coffees, milk, fruit juice, V8, Florida orange juice, and mimosas are available. Dietary needs are accommodated upon request, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.

Guests can take a guided kayak tour through the Mangroves at sunset. Nancy Forester's Secret Garden, home to Nancy's parrot rescue, is around the corner from The Artist House. Key West Express provides ferry service between Ft Myers Beach, Marco Island, and Key West. Sunset festivals occur daily at Mallory Square.

The Artist House is in Old Town Key West, one block from Duval Street and adjacent to the Historic Seaport District. Key West International is 5 km away. Landmarks nearby include San Carlos Institute (0.5 km), Key West Cemetery (1 km), The Studios of Key West (0.3 km), Duval Street (0.5 km), and Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden (0.5 km).

The Artist House provides Wi-Fi, and welcomes dogs with a one-time fee of $50 per pet, per day. Maximum two dogs per room. In-room amenities include a Keurig, Tea Forte Teas, mini-fridge, remote-controlled mini-split A/C units, and flatscreen TVs. Specials can be billed separately for friends/family.
