The guest house sits in the heart of Key West, 300 metres from Duval Street and 500 metres from the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park Beach is 900 metres away, and Southernmost Point is 1 km from the property. The Key West Aquarium, Mallory Square and Harry S Truman Little White House are all less than 1 km away. Key West International Airport is 4 km away - a taxi or rideshare takes about 10 minutes. Street parking is free but can be difficult to find; a rental car is not essential as almost all attractions, dining and bars are within a short walk. Nearby dining includes FireFly Key West, Green Parrot Bar, Santiago's Bodega and Mam's Best Food, all around 0.5 km away.

Each room includes air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a microwave and a fridge. Private bathrooms have a bath, hairdryer and free toiletries. Room sizes vary considerably. Some rooms are described as spacious and comfortable, while others are compact - tight around the bed with limited space for luggage or storage, no wardrobe or dresser, and minimal shelving in the bathroom. Rooms with a king or queen bed generally offer more space. Units with a terrace or outdoor furniture provide extra living area. Rooms on the ground floor may have light and noise from the street, and some units have a gap at the bottom of the door. The property is non-smoking throughout. An ironing board and clothes rack are available in some rooms.

The year-round heated outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a private courtyard with sun loungers, beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool area is shaded by palm trees and offers a quiet retreat from the nearby Duval Street bustle. A garden, outdoor seating area and picnic area with tables are available for relaxing. Towels are provided at the pool. The pool is cleaned regularly, though some instances of debris or dirty furniture are possible. The courtyard also features a pleasant garden and is a popular spot for reading or unwinding. There is no on-site gym, spa or bike rental, but bike rentals are available nearby.
