THE BEEHIVE HOSTEL, Rome

The hostel sits in central Rome, steps from Termini station. The route is cobblestone-free, making suitcase movement easy. Historic sights like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are a 15-20 minute walk away. Villa Borghese and Piazza Barberini are 2 km from the property. Dozens of restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket are within a 2-minute radius. From Termini, buses run directly to both Ciampino and Fiumicino airports. Sapienza University is less than 1 km away.

Options include single and double rooms (private or shared bathroom) and 4-bed female-only or mixed dorms. Private rooms have a kitchen with stovetop, fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle; a seating/dining area; an iPad; and often a balcony with inner courtyard views. Dorm beds come with power outlets, a small locker for valuables, and free earplugs. All rooms have air conditioning, heating, and parquet or tiled floors. Shared bathrooms are spacious with high water pressure and are cleaned daily. The building is quiet at night, with respectful noise levels.

The hostel does not offer breakfast. The shared kitchen is fully equipped for guests to prepare their own meals. A bagel company operates on site, selling fresh bagels for €2 (cash only) on weekdays. Evening aperitivo events (Monday-Friday) include free snacks and drinks available for purchase. The surrounding area has numerous affordable restaurants and cafés within a short walk.

A garden courtyard with outdoor seating provides a relaxing space. The hostel organizes daily evening aperitivo, walking tours, trivia nights, and happy hour (additional charge). Board games are available. No gym, pool, or spa facilities on site.

WiFi is free throughout the property (not available in the courtyard). The building has a lift, shared kitchen, lounge/TV area, and designated smoking area. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry costs €10. Luggage storage is free at reception during opening hours (09:00-21:00) for early arrivals or after checkout - no long-term storage. In-dorm lockers fit small valuables only; safety deposit boxes are available. Reception operates 09:00-21:00. No parking or pet facilities.
