The immediate area has several restaurants, BBQ spots, and a bar across the street, making car-free exploring convenient. On-site parking costs $35 per day.

The on-site restaurant, Carpenters Hall, is open for brunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, serving a menu that includes cheeseburgers and other American fare; wine and champagne are available for an additional charge. HotL Coffee provides the only morning meal option within the hotel, with hours from 7 am to 3 pm daily offering breakfast tacos, pastries, and specialty drinks (including vegan options at the restaurant, though not at the coffee shop itself). No complimentary breakfast is provided. Outdoor seating, a bar, and kids' meals are available. For guests who want a coffee before 7 am, requesting a kettle in advance is the only in-room option. The outdoor pool is open year-round, heated to 29 °C during winter, and features a fence, shallow end, and sun loungers. The pool area is shaded by pecan trees, creating a relaxing courtyard atmosphere. A sun terrace and picnic area with outdoor furniture are available for lounging. There is no gym on the property, but the hotel provides a pass to a nearby fitness center (a round trip walk of about 5 km). Bikes are available to borrow for free, and the adjacent Lady Bird Lake trail system offers running, walking, and cycling routes. Boating is possible in the surrounding area. The pool is saltwater, which is a preference for those sensitive to chlorine.
