The hotel sits in a vibrant central area surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store within a 5-minute walk. Mount Vernon Square Metro Station is just seconds away, providing easy access across the city. White House, US Capitol, and Smithsonian museums are within a short walk or a quick ride. The Convention Center is literally next door, making this an ideal base for conference attendees. Public parking is available at a garage next door, but the hotel itself has no parking. Several restaurants are within 0.5 km, including Corduroy, Brasserie Beck, and Cafe Cozy Corner. A $10 Lyft ride takes you to the National Mall area.

Two suite types are available: the Independence (650 sqft) and the slightly larger Freedom (700 sqft). Each has a private bedroom with a queen bed and a living room with a queen-size sofa bed, sleeping up to four guests. The full kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, and dishes. A coffee machine and complimentary tea/coffee are provided. The living room has a 32-inch TV; there is no TV in the bedroom. Bathrooms are private with a shower; no bathtubs are available.
