The Pilot Inn is ideally placed for O2 Arena events, Greenwich attractions, and central London. Greenwich Park is a 25-minute walk away, while The Royal Observatory and National Maritime Museum are 30 minutes on foot. North Greenwich tube station (Jubilee line) is a 10-minute walk, providing 15-minute connections to central London. The O2 Arena is a short walk through a well-lit park. Maze Hill train station is about 30 minutes away, or a short bus ride (129 bus) from the hotel. The area also offers cable car links across the Thames and Uber Water Taxis from the nearby pier, plus pay-as-you-go electric bikes. The surrounding Greenwich Peninsula features modern development with restaurants, shops, and leisure options, making it a convenient base for both event-goers and city explorers.

Rooms are individually styled with a quirky, boutique feel and come well-equipped: each has a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, flat-screen TV, tea/coffee facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Superior rooms add an iPod dock, Nespresso coffee machine, and luxury fabrics. All rooms have double beds only - no twin beds are available. The building has no lift - access is via a narrow staircase that may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Some rooms at the front of the building above the pub entrance can experience noise from street activity and closing time chatter. Rooms near the stairs or main entrance can also be affected by door banging and foot traffic. Light sleepers may wish to request a rear-facing room. Rooms overlooking the park can offer views of the O2. The corridor to the bedrooms is narrow and sound travels easily between rooms. A few rooms have been noted to have poor ventilation, and some have secondary glazing that does not fully block outside noise from the beer garden or aircraft. All rooms are non-smoking and have air conditioning, heating, and carpeted floors.

Dining at The Pilot Inn centres on its pub and restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet with continental options and cooked-to-order items including a full English, eggs benedict, and a plant-based English breakfast. It is served Monday-Friday 07:00-10:00 and Saturday-Sunday 08:00-10:00. All breakfasts are served in the restaurant only - no room service is available for breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus feature home-cooked roast lunches, modern British cuisine, award-winning ales, and a daily changing choice of fresh fish. The restaurant is family-friendly, offers vegetarian and gluten-free options, and children's meals are available (additional charge). Opening times vary by day: Monday-Thursday 12:00-15:00 and 18:00-22:00, Friday 12:00-22:00, Saturday 12:00-22:00, and Sunday 12:00-18:00. A selection of wines and champagne is also available at an additional charge. The pub has a welcoming, traditional atmosphere with outdoor seating.

The Pilot Inn does not have a spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool. Leisure options are limited to the on-site garden and terrace, which provide outdoor seating in a pleasant setting. The property's primary leisure value is its proximity to the O2 Arena (with shops, restaurants, and entertainment), Greenwich Park, and the Thames-side walking and cycling paths of the Greenwich Peninsula.

Check-in is from 15:00 to 21:30, and the property has 24-hour room access for late returns. An airport shuttle is not available. Assistance dogs are allowed with a £30 surcharge for a deeper clean; other pets are not permitted.
