TOWNHOUSE HOTEL, Miami Beach

The hotel is ideally positioned for exploring South Beach. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach, and a short stroll to Lincoln Road Mall, Ocean Drive, and the Miami Beach Convention Center. The neighborhood is packed with dining options, including Orange Blossom Restaurant, Jaya, and Terrazza, all within a 5-minute walk. Public transport is convenient, with a bus stop and the free trolley service just two minutes away. The Port of Miami is a 25-minute drive, and Miami International Airport is 20-30 minutes by car, depending on traffic. For those on foot, the location is walkable to most attractions, with popular spots like the beach boardwalk easily reached.

Accommodation ranges from double rooms to a penthouse suite with two balconies and partial ocean views. All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. In-room amenities include a coffee/tea maker, safe, ironing facilities, and a wardrobe. Some rooms feature a dressing area. Only the penthouse suites have a balcony. Room sizes vary, and the decor is described as bright and clean. While some rooms face the street and can be noisy, especially on weekends due to nearby nightlife, higher floors and rooms away from the elevator tend to be quieter. The air conditioning is effective, and beds are noted for being comfortable.

Breakfast is a simple continental affair, including coffee, tea, muffins, Danish pastries, and bagels with cream cheese. It is included in the room rate. For other meals, the hotel does not have a restaurant, but the surrounding area is rich with dining choices. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and bars are within a short walk, including Joe's Stone Crab and Cuban eateries on Collins Avenue. For those wanting to prepare their own snacks, a microwave is available in the lobby, and rooms have a mini-fridge.

The fitness centre offers basic equipment, though it has been noted to be small and may not be accessible at all times. For leisure, the hotel's primary attraction is its beach access. Each booking includes two beach chairs and one umbrella, available at a designated area on the beach just a few minutes' walk away. There is no swimming pool on site. The rooftop area offers a terrace with seating and views, but its amenities such as a bar are not currently operational. A golf course is within 3 km.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with express check-in/out, luggage storage, and tour arrangements. A safety deposit box is available in each room. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms with grab rails, raised toilets, and a lift to most floors. Additional services include an invoice provision, dry cleaning (for a fee), and fax/photocopying. The hotel is fully non-smoking and has CCTV for security. No laundry service is available. Guests should note that the elevator is slow and small, and some floors require climbing stairs to reach (e.g., the penthouse).
