Located on Windley Key, Coconut Cove Resort & Marina is 600 m from Theater of the Sea and Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. The resort is 70 miles south of Miami airport and 35 miles north of Marathon airport. Nearby landmarks include Michelle Nicole Lowe Art Gallery (5 km), Keys History & Discovery Center (4 km), and Islamorada (4 km).

Coconut Cove Resort & Marina provides waterfront access on a 7-acre property with a nature preserve. The resort offers wedding and private function services. Parking is available with 4 spots between the main building and the office, additional parking next to the tiki hut, and trailer parking in the back by the General building. The dock fee is $45. Beauty Salon for Hair styling & make-up. This is a "Mom and Pop" natural island resort where guests can view osprey, egrets, and herons in the private nature preserve.
